Extensive testing and trials have given us hugely successful infection and odour control results, while the design of the product means its completely safe for use in constantly occupied areas
Our AIRsteril products and their efficacy have been tested by a variety of reputable laboratories in the UK and internationally for both airborne and surface microbial control, independent field testing has also demonstrated product performance in both the elimination of odours and reduction of microorganisms.
Tests have demonstrated clear reductions in overall bio-aerosols and microbial levels with clear reductions in TVC (Total Viable Count) or CFU (Colony Forming Units), additional independent testing performed on differing varieties of bacteria, virus, mould and Fungi demonstrate the efficacy against the most prevalent of these including Listeria, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermis, Aspergillus Fumigatus, MS-2 Coliphage, MRSA (Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus) and Clostridium difficile.

TVC/CFU – over 99% reduction after 4 hours, up to 99.77% after 12 hours, surface;
Listeria – decrease to 0 log cfu/cm2 within 24 hours, beyond detectable levels by day 3 (Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria innocua)
E. coli – airborne; decrease beyond detectable levels after an hour, surface; up to 99.9% reduction
Staphylococcus epidermis – up to 98.11% airborne reduction within 5 minutes
Staphylococcus aureus – airborne; decrease beyond detectable levels after an hour, surface; up to 99.5% reduction
Clostridium difficile – up to 99.6% surface reduction
Aspergillus Fumigatus - airborne decrease beyond detectable levels after an hour
MS-2 Coliphage - up to 92.17% airborne reduction within 5 minutes, up to 59.47% surface reduction within an hour
MRSA - up to 51.81% surface reduction within an hour
