MF20 / MF40 / MF60 / MF80

The AIRsteril MF range improves air quality and odour control in enclosed spaces where traditional cleaning alone cannot address airborne contamination. In busy rooms, airborne microorganisms and odour causing compounds can build up and lead to stale or unpleasant smells. Routine cleaning and the use of masking sprays can only provide short term relief, once people return to the area, issues can reappear quickly.

MF units are fan driven and can be ceiling or wall mounted for continuous operation via a spur from an emergency lighting circuit. Alternatively, they can be supplied with a plug and feet for temporary use on a raised flat surface such as a chest of drawers or any other suitable high level location. In public areas or permanent installations, they should be hard wired to a spur for long term use.

AIRsteril Is An Ideal Solution

Many enclosed environments can quickly develop stale air, lingering smells and a build up of airborne microorganisms, particularly where people spend long periods of time together. Cleaning surfaces and fabrics improves appearance but cannot address contamination in the air, and a single bacteria cell could in theory multiply to more than 8 million in an 8 hour period* which helps explain why unpleasant smells and air quality issues can return between routine cleans.

Where people congregate there is always potential for airborne contamination to move around the space. Shared equipment, changing rooms, storage areas and high occupancy rooms can all be affected by increased moisture, smells and airborne microorganisms. By treating the air continuously, AIRsteril MF units help manage these challenges and support a fresher, cleaner smelling environment for everyone.

*Certain bacteria such as E. coli can replicate every 20 minutes, which in theory could result in very high numbers within 8 hours. This highlights how quickly contamination in the air can build between standard cleaning routines.
