CVX 12V / CVX 24v

Working vehicles often carry mixed loads, equipment or waste materials, and it is common for lingering smells to build up between journeys. These odours can transfer from one job to the next, even after routine cleaning. Warm vehicle interiors and limited ventilation also mean airborne contaminants can circulate continuously, making it difficult to maintain a clean-smelling and pleasant environment.

Traditional cleaning can refresh surfaces, but it cannot address the airborne compounds that contribute to persistent smells. Certain bacteria can multiply very quickly in enclosed, occupied environments, which helps explain why odours return between general cleaning cycles. The AIRsteril CVX unit provides continuous air treatment by reducing airborne microorganisms inside the internal treatment chamber and breaking down odour-causing compounds. Treated air is then released back into the vehicle to help maintain a fresher, more pleasant atmosphere throughout the day.

Benefits of using AIRsteril
  • > Reduce unpleasant odours created by mixed loads and everyday vehicle use
  • > Improve air quality in enclosed cabins and storage areas
  • > Support cleaner-smelling conditions between routine cleans
  • > Reduce reliance on strong chemicals and masking fragrances
  • > Help minimise cross-contamination of lingering smells between jobs
  • > Help keep interiors, tools and equipment fresher for longer
  • > Support a more pleasant working environment for drivers and passengers

How Our Systems Work

AIRsteril technology draws contaminated air into a sealed internal chamber where it is exposed to germicidal UVC and advanced oxidation. Inside this chamber, airborne microorganisms are destroyed and odour-causing compounds are broken down before treated air is released back into the vehicle. This continuous process helps manage persistent smells more effectively than short-term cleaning or masking sprays.

The CVX unit operates without fans and uses very low energy, making it suitable for continuous running in vans, service vehicles, delivery fleets, mobile workshops and other enclosed spaces. By reducing airborne microorganisms and breaking down odour-causing compounds, the system helps maintain a cleaner-smelling and more welcoming environment throughout daily operations.

*Certain bacteria such as E. coli can replicate every 20 minutes, which in theory could lead to very high numbers within eight hours. This illustrates why lingering smells return quickly when air treatment is not continuously maintained.
