Odours and infections are created by bacteria, viruses, mould, fungi and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in the air and on surfaces.

Whether you are involved in meat and food processing or waste facilities, all environments need to be kept under control when protecting against odours, bacteria and viruses before they become overpowering and create health and safety issues.

Regular cleaning simply cannot control these environments. Nor can they control the spread of micro-organisms. In an eight-hour period, a single bacteria cell can multiply to over eight million; odours prevail and the health risks increase. Masking the odours with strong fragrances only has a limiting effect and cannot control the VOCs such as terpenes in tobacco smoke or methane in rotting rubbish.

Dax Airscience use five technologies to kill up to 98.11%* of bacteria and viruses found in the air and on exposed washroom surfaces.

The full HPA report is available on request. The HPA brand is now defunct and the department is now known as Public Health England.
